1) Stadium [by Anonymous Citizen on May 7, 2007]
We are wondering how many acreas you would need to build a baseball park in southern Minnesota 100 miles from the Cities. We have land for sale and we have about 65 acreas. I know that you would probably need about 100 acreas. Please take this into consideration, and we would be looking forward to hearing from you on this matter.

2) Tax Money for Private Business [by Anonymous Citizen on May 26, 2005]
Teachers being layed off... couldnt have anything to do with a drop in enrollment could it?
Education taking a hit... maybe education isnt getting as large of an increase as it is used to, but money isnt being taken away from it.

At least try to use valid reasoning for opposition, not the standard party line.

Way to go gang, teachers are being layed-off, education is taking a huge hit, but were going to use tax money to fund a baseball team. I wish that the vote was put to the tax payers.

4) Stadium by owners only [by no new taxes on May 10, 2005]
I don't want my tax money to pay for a stadium. If the State of Minnesota owned the team, and reaped the profits, then fine. But I feel the owners of the teams should purchase, build, and operate their stadiums without government intervention. By enjoying the profits from the concessions, suites, beverages, and all else it would increase their desire to spend the money for their teams. Keep the government out of it!
