  • Introduced by Sen. Thomas M. Neuville and Sen. Charles "Chuck" W. Wiger on January 6, 2005, to amend the Minnesota Constitution to provide for staggered four-year terms for senators (half would be elected every two years). The amendment would be submitted to the people at the 2006 general election and be effective for senators elected at the 2012 general election (HF350 Companion Bill).
